Let’s Meet Timmy Tootie …..Terminator!!!

Hello again, this is Sandy Van Cromvoirt (The Fartie Lady). Do you remember who I am writing about this time? Yes, you are right it is Timmy Tootie another “character” in my book “Meet The Farties”.  As you may recall my first book has six characters. These characters are “Mr. Bart Fart — Not Me Mama—Freddy Fartie—Timmy Tootie—Billy Bubbles—Princess Pop”.  I wrote about “Princess Pop” in my last posting.  Now it is hootin, rootin —tootin Timmy’s turn!!

How “Timmy Tootie” Came About in the book…..

Timmy Tootie came into the story almost right from the start as we all have been asked “was that a toot?” So I knew we needed a Timmy Tootie.  He is Freddy Fartie and Billy Bubbles’ cousin.

Again, I did not have to look too far to imagine who Timmy Tootie could be …..Another one of my grandchildren looked just like him.

Timmy Tootie is a little taller than his cousins and loves to wear his handkerchief.  Timmy Tootie thinks it makes him look shorter! LOL

Timmy Tootie loves to wear hats!  He loves his little propeller hat.  WOW look at all his hats! Which hat do you like the best? I think that is Freddy Fartie with Timmy Tootie. Freddy Fartie is getting ready for his introduction on the next blog post and thought a picture would be nice with Timmy Tootie.

Look at these crazy silly hats that these little fellows are wearing.

Timmy Tootie can even make his own “Turkey Hat!”

When Timmy Tootie and his cousins play “Ride—em Cowboy!!, he runs to his room to get his “Big Butt Cowboy Hat” and his “Butt  Boots” …he is ready to play Hootin– Rootin –TOOTIN”  down home on the ranch.

Whoopee!!! Whoopee!! Timmy Tootie yells as he pretends he is riding his favorite horse “”"BUTT-KICK AND TOOT’”.

Then Timmy Tootie likes to put on his Tootie helmet and takes off on his riding machine …his little bike.

Sometimes Timmy Tootie plays too hard and gets his tooth knocked out …do you know what they call him then??—-Timmy Tootie Toothless Wonder !! LOL

Oh well, the tooth was going to come out anyway!!!  Timmy Tootie’s Mommy, Big Bertha, gets a little concerned and tells him to slow down.

After all that playing, Timmy Tootie is one hungry little “BUTT” and “”CHILI”"” is Timmy Tootie’s favorite food!! Yum! Yum!!! –all that chili…. I am just saying—–stay back!

Wait till you meet Timmy Tootie’s family!! I will give you a hint ….his Dad is “Loaded Lloyd” ….. and it just get more hootin tootin from there!!

Timmy Tootie has lots of brother and sister “BUTTS” and they all love family movie night! Can you guess what their favorite movie is?

“”Loaded ..but… Dangerous!!!

They all get together and hoot– root and toot all night long.   It is a great time with the “TOOTIE” family. Maybe some night you can come over on movie night and “Toot” with us!

My philosophy to each character and Timmy Tootie….

Timmy Tootie is a friendly little butt.  He will only terminate you if you “TOOT” more than him.  Do you know of anyone that can clear the room with Terminator Toots????   I “BUTT” you do!!!!!  LOL

Timmy Tootie tries very hard to make you think he is dangerous “but” he has the cutest dimples.  Timmy Tootie loves it when you twirl his little propeller hat and he giggles. Timmy Tootie likes to say toot toot tootin to you!!!

As each of the little “BUTT” characters get to know you better, they will love you. You can even have them all as part of your family too.  All the little “BUTTS” love to hear you giggle, laugh and just have fun reading all about them and their gassy adventures.

In closing…

I am having so much fun writing all about the little “BUTT” family with you here on the blog.  Do you “TOOT” like Timmy Tootie?? Do you like chili like Timmy Tootie?

Meet The Farties – “Princess Pop….and All That Royalty”

The Famous “Baby”, Princess Pop

Well now that you have met several of the other characters in the book “Meet the Farties”, that’s “Mr. Bart Fart — Not Me Mama—Freddy Fartie—Timmy Tootie—Billy Bubbles—Princess Pop”, it’s time to meet the famous “”BABY”" Princess POP!!

How “Princess Pop” Came To Be…..

When I started to write about “The Baby Butt”,  I wasn’t sure of the age I wanted the Baby Butt to be …but I knew I wanted the Baby to be a girl!  I played around with different looks, ages and suddenly my Fartie Power went to work and there was  “Princess Pop”.

Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop!…….Gurgle —Gurgle—Opps ….Giggle

It’s Princess Pop!!!!

Princess Pop is called…. “Miss Royalty”.    Do you want to know why?  She just smiles whenever she does anything and everybody laughs. Princess Pop is always looked after and she does not have to do anything ’cause……she is “The Baby”.

Look at Princess Pop in her beautiful bonnet ….so cute…. so perfect. ..So happy …  do you know why she is always smiling????

Even when I let a little “TOOT”

giggle giggle ….ga ga ga…

….But… Sometimes my brother Freddy Fartie and my cousins Billy Bubbles and Timmy Tootie make a LOT of Noise—– I mean !!!A LOT OF NOISE and then they try to blame me……. “The Baby Butt”.

Can you even imagine that?  I mean LOOK at me! Why would “Not Me Mama”  even believe them??? I did not think “Not Me Mama”  would either ‘but sometimes they fool her and I get the …look…  You know the look… How could someone so small and adorable make that much noise??

Well I’m here to tell you that even my TOOTS are CUTE!!…. cause I’m “The Baby”.

Some day when I get bigger I will kick their “BUTT” Oh yeah, I won’t always be ….The Baby!  “BUT” that’s another story! LOL

I love to watch Cartoons with my little “Butt” family and “Not Me Mama” cuddles with me. My brother Freddy Fartie and my Dad, Mr. Bart Fart, watch the movie too.  I giggle, I laugh, and love it when all of us watch “Baby Butt goes Bungee Bouncing”.

It is so funny I giggle and giggle and then I toot and toot, then I giggle some more. It is a great time cause I am “Royalty” and no one ever says anything to “The Baby”.

“Not Me Mama” also likes to take me places.  I get all dressed up and ready to go.  My tummy is full of my favorite food…mush. Everyone we see likes to make “Baby Butt” laugh and I love the attention—— giggle…pop… giggle…pop… “”but”" I don’t feel good anymore!

Oh No! Oh No!!!  Step away!! Stop making me Giggle and my tummy Jiggle …..noooooooooo …. …the party is over and home I gooooooo!!

Oh well I am still adorable ‘cuz I am “the Baby”.

My philosophy to each character and Princess Pop….

I wanted “Princess Pop” to be….sweet, adorable and so loveable…but still have a little spunk in her. Always going with being cute and never crude. …. Every little girl will want to take Princess Pop to bed to snuggle with.  Princess Pop loves to wear PINK and a big bonnet.   In fact Princess Pop loves to wear anything PINK!

Isn’t she adorable??? —-that bonnet …how cute is that???

As you get to know each of the little “BUTT” characters better, you will just love them.  You can have them all as part of your family too. All the little “BUTTS” love to hear you giggle… laugh and just have fun reading all about them and their gassy adventures.

Meet The Fartie’s “Not Me Mama” – and All That Jazz

Sandy Van Cromvoirt – Cabbage Rolls Anyone?

Hi everyone! Yes it’s me, Sandy (The Fartie Lady).  Many of you have been interested in knowing more about my character- the lady that started it all, so here is how The Fartie’s “Not Me Mama” came to be…..

As you might recall, there are six Fartie characters:  Mr. Bart Fart and  Billy Bubbles, who you’ve already met, Freddy Fartie, Timmy Tootie Princess Pop and me, Not Me Mama.

I wanted “Not Me Mama” to be a… Hot… Happening… Ever Loving… Styling Mama that loves her bling!! And she NEVER tells her age!!

I wanted each of us to be able to relate to “Not Me Mama” — someone that can cook up cabbage rolls in the kitchen for her little “BUTT” family and then be ready to go out looking gorgeous in high heels and diamonds.

That is why I want you to know I had a hard time deciding on whether “Not Me Mama” should be Blonde, Brunette or a Hot Redhead!!

“Not Me Mama” loves to wear green, and  bright red lipstick!! So I went with the beautiful redhead look!  Do you like it?

“Not Me Mama” is a fun loving “BUTT” and loves to get up on the stage and sing with her “BUT-TIES” at parties!! “Mrs. Fartie and the But-ties” will knock you on your “BUTT” !! LOL

“Not Me Mama” loves to go to the movies with Mr. Bart Fart. Her favorite movie is  ”Farties have Feelings too”.  It is a wonderful romance story about little “Butts that overcome all the challenges of gas and go on to become a beautiful couple!!

“Not Me Mama” cries every time – Maybe it’s those cabbage rolls making “Not Me Mama” cry.

Do you want to know why I am called “Not Me Mama”? Well let me tell you.  We Mamas just don’t admit to any gas going on even if it is us. We just say, no, no, no, that wasn’t me, couldn’t be! We Mamas just don’t do that !! Well, at least we won’t admit it! We Mama’s try to be very lady like and hold, hold, hold on!!– until we can’t take it anymore and then we run like crazy somewhere where we can safely let our “Fluffies” escape and no-one gets hurt! Whew, that was close!

Sometimes it is very hard when I am teaching, Freddie Fartie. Timmy Tootie, and Billy Bubbles manners concerning their bodily functions especially when I am having a terrible time holding on too. Then I get rattled and all frustrated and away I go running willy nilly to find a safe spot to let out my “concerns” so the little “BUTTS” do not hear me and start giggling!.

Now you know, it just would not be right for “Not Me Mama” to let things get out of control with these little “BUTTS” —then all– hello would break loose and there would be no stopping the “BUTTS” from saying “Hello” all the time!

So to make it easier on everyone, the little “BUTTS” line up and let the “Farties” “Tooties” and “Bubbles”  goooo!! When they are all done, each of the little “butts” says “”"EXCUSE ME! PLEASE” and off they go to play.  It gives “Not Me Mama” a little quiet time for a while.

Meet the Farties – It’s “Billy Bubbles!”

Hi, it’s Sandy, (The Fartie Lady) again. This time I am writing about another character in my book “Meet The Farties”. As you may recall my first book has six characters. These characters are “Mr. Fart Bart— Not Me Mama—Freddy Fartie–Timmy Tootie–Billy Bubbles and Princess Pop.  I wrote about Mr. Bart Fart in my last post.   This time, we’re going to introduce you to Billy Bubbles!

How Billy Bubbles Came To Be…..This little “Butt” is just so cute, and adorable, you will just love him!

Have you ever heard your Mommy or Daddy say  “was that a little bubble?” when they hear a little noise coming from you?

I know when my kids were young, I would say “was that a little bubble, honey”? Now I say the same thing to my grandchildren. Everyone would giggle and off they would go, laughing their little heads off and being silly about their “BUBBLES”.

As I continued developing this little “BUTT” family, I knew there had to be a little “Butt” named Billy Bubbles. The name came to me easily enough “but” what is Billy Bubbles all about, I wondered…?

  • What does he look like?
  • What does he like to do?
  • What is his personality?

So many questions for such a little “BUTT”.  And the creation of little Billy Bubbles began.  As it turned out, I did not have far to look, as my little grandson “Josh” is so much like “Billy Bubbles”.

Does that not look like Billy Bubbles to you? So adorable with such a big smile and glasses; how cute is he?

Billy Bubbles’ favorite colour is yellow and so it is for “Josh” – in fact, that was one of Josh’s first words….. “ellow” .  Both like to chew bubble gum and blow big, big, bubbles!  Now this is where things hit a fork in the road, as  “Billy Bubbles” likes refried beans and Josh says “not a chance”!  Josh sticks to his bran flakes for that extra punch of nutrition. Just stand back when they have finished their refried beans and bran flakes!  It’s not very pretty.

Every Friday night at Billy Bubbles’ home, it’s movie night with the family. They love to watch the movie “Silent but Deadly”.  You all know what that’s all about!  Maybe you know someone that is silent and deadly too!

Oh well, Billy Bubbles’ Mama -would you like to know her name?  Would you?  You will……. “but” not yet! She goes and gets out all the goodies (black licorice) and they all have a rooting- hooting- tooting good time on movie night.

My philosophy to each character and Billy Bubbles….

I wanted Billy Bubbles to be a… roly, poly, round, squeezable little “BUTT” -  a happy go lucky little “BUTT” with big glasses and a baby curl on top.   Billy Bubbles loves to say “Hello” so he lets bubbles go everywhere he goes. Sometimes Billy Bubbles blows so many bubbles, we can’t find him “but” we can hear him!

Billy Bubbles’ likes to wear his favorite little yellow rain coat when it is raining; not cats and dogs ”but” farties and tooties. Would you like to see little Billy Bubbles in a yellow rain bubble coat?  It will be very small. Maybe in one of the up and coming series of “Meet the Farties”   What do you think?

I try very hard to stay with the philosophy of cute not crude! Billy Bubbles is just so cute, everyone wants to take him home!

Yes, there is so much more to this book than a little family of “BUTTS” and their gas. They become part of your family. Can you think of anyone that reminds you of Billy Bubbles?

Meet The Farties – All About Our Characters

Introducing Mr. Bart Fart!

Hi, this is Sandy Van Cromvoirt (The Fartie Lady) again. I am so delighted to be getting feedback on my blog!  Many people have asked me to tell them all about how the characters in this children’s’ book came to be.  So the next few blog posts will deal with the “Meet the Farties” characters starting with Mr. Bart Fart.  As you will recall, the first book has six characters. These characters are “Mr. Bart Fart— Not Me Mama—Freddy Fartie—Timmy Tootie—Billy Bubbles and Princess Pop.  You can find out even more about this book by clicking over to our website – www.thefarties.com!

How Mr. Bart Fart Came About…..

I was busy writing the first “Meet the Farties” book and I kept thinking… who would make a good Dad Butt in my story?  One day  I looked over at my dear husband as he was busily doing the vacuuming and the dishes LOL (just kidding guys)  “BUTT” (love that word now), he really does help out as I need more special time to be creative!!

And in a brilliant flash (like Fantastic Fartie Power), it came to me -Mr Bart Fart! You see my husband’s name is Bart and you can imagine all the wonderful names he was called in school.

I started writing Mr. Bart Fart into my little book. I got really excited as he became a wonderful father figure to the little “BUTTS”; he always has a little gas going on LOL.

Well I got so excited I forgot to tell him he was in my little book until it was ready to go to press -  “OOPS!”

I had some fast talking to do by telling him how famous he will become and how his legacy will be forever in the hearts of children and adults everywhere.

Thankfully, my husband has a great sense of humor and he was just fine with everything.  Bart has always said; “Every day with you Sandy, is an adventure”.  I took that as a compliment.  I think he meant it that way don’t you? Anyway, that is how Mr. Bart Fart came to be.

My philosophy to each character and Mr. Bart Fart….

I wanted Mr. Fart Bart to be older looking but still very cute and huggable.  Like all the other little “Butt” characters now and in the future,  I want them to appear adorable and loved by all.  Just to let you all know, Mr. Bart Fart is the only Fart word in the book.  The reason that I used the fart word was it rhymed with Bart and it suited the story.

I try very hard to stay with the philosophy of cute not crude! There is so much more to this book than a little family of “Butts” and their gas.   There is a moral to the story.  You can read my first blog post to get more background on how this book came to be and my hopes for its success.

Meet The Farties – Where It All Began

Hi, my name is Sandy Van Cromvoirt (The Fartie Lady – that’s me on the left and my daughter Rhonda-Lee in blue at Indigo on one of our book signings).

I am a budding self-published children’s’ book author.  I have always made up little songs, jiggles and anything that would make people laugh.  When I was young, I would get up and dance and sing on anything that looked like a stage.  I just love to laugh!

I am a wife, mother and grandmother and all around full-of-life, funny person.  I wanted to share with fellow readers, how my funny, wonderful children’s book “Meet the Farties” came about and also share with you, our “Rootin! Hootin! Tootin”  journey.

How it all began…

Once upon a time when my little granddaughter Skye-Blue was younger, she would spend a lot of time with me. She would come up with all types of different names for bodily functions!

We would laugh and toss back and forth lots of funny names related to our bodily functions. From all those silly conversations, the little “BUTT” family began to take shape.  In one of those moments, Skye-Blue would say to me “Watch out, Grandma here comes “Magnificent Mary”, and magnificent it was!

We laughed so hard that I thought if we had so much fun, maybe other people might as well.   From that moment on, the little BUTT” family emerged.  Skye-Blue is almost all grown up now…(here  she is pictured with me), Sandy and Skye-Blue but we still love to laugh over the characters in this book! We would like to introduce them to you;  Freddy Fartie, Timmy Tootie, Billy Bubbles, Princess Pop, Oh Not Me Mama and Mr. Bart Fart resulting in the children’s’ book,  ”Meet the Farties”.  It is a family of little “Butts” (shown up above here on the banner) and their gassy adventures! With each “Meet the Farties”  book, comes six trading cards of the Fartie Family and the famous key chain that make six distinct Fartie sounds.

Everyone has their favorite Fartie character and their favorite Fartie sound from the key chain!

My philosophy behind the book…

There is so much more to this book than a little family of “Butts”

I wanted to create something that would be cute, funny and be enjoyed by many.  I also wanted each little book to have a moral or lesson for the children to learn from.  With this little book “Meet the Farties”, I have found that everyone – not just children, get a real charge out of  “Meet the Farties”.   It is my wish that I can spread joy and laughter with my series of “Meet the Farties” books.  I have started donating “Meet the Farties” books to the childrens’ wards in hospitals. The nurses are very happy. They say there is nothing children love better than bodily function noises and laughing is one of the best medicines for healing.

If my little book “Meet the Farties” can help people laugh more, it is doing what I had hoped for.

What Might be next for “the Farties”…

I can not tell you everything we are doing but I can tempt you with what you can look forward to in the next “Meet the Farties” series……Six new little “Butts” characters with their trading cards and a surprise.   The now famous “Magnificent Mary” will be in the next book. …….. “The little “bum” that started it all”
